Celebrating one year of blogging.
Even when it's challenging and we really don't feel like it, we're called to be patient.
When we see miracles happen, we must remember where all credit and glory lies -- with Him.
With the Holy Spirit, we're able to pray about the things that we feel are impossible to articulate.
It's a prayer that relies upon absolute faith and trust. It requires the relinquishing of control, surrendering all plans we have for the future to God.
If Jesus, the Savior of the world (who is perfect) needed time in solitude, then how much more do we need that time with God?
Although no country is perfect, the freedom we experience today is a gift that we cannot take for granted.
What about the situations that aren't as dramatic as boxing a full-grown Kodiak bear, but still cause our hearts to start racing?
We create an outer shell that we're confident is "beautiful" and "acceptable"...
Finding contentment where we are.
