Regardless of whether or not the thing we're waiting for can be impacted by our actions, waiting brings out the best, and worst, in us.
Our words should honor God in the way that we speak to others, the choice of words we use, and the way we speak about each other.
Celebrating one year of blogging.
After much prayer, I think God gave me clarity in this area, and today I've made a decision: I've stopped listening.
With the Holy Spirit, we're able to pray about the things that we feel are impossible to articulate.
It's a prayer that relies upon absolute faith and trust. It requires the relinquishing of control, surrendering all plans we have for the future to God.
As much as I may look forward to the future, God has strategically placed me where I currently am. And you as well.
If Jesus, the Savior of the world (who is perfect) needed time in solitude, then how much more do we need that time with God?
Although no country is perfect, the freedom we experience today is a gift that we cannot take for granted.
May we be a generation that finds ourselves fully-submitted to the will of God.
